What exactly does Pool Owner Academy do?
We help homeowners understand their specific pool and equipment setup through personalized guidance, photos, and easy-to-follow instructions.
How does the process work?
You complete our intake form, upload photos/videos, and we create a customized walkthrough explaining how your pool and equipment work.
Do you come on-site?
At this time, all services are virtual unless otherwise specified. Everything is done using your photos and/or videos.
How long does it take to receive my customized guide?
Most guides are delivered within 48-72 hours after submission giving us time to review all of the information and customize our approach to your specific setup.
About Pool Equipment
Why do you need photos of my equipment pad?
Every pool is different. Photos allow us to correctly identify your exact components, plumbing layout, and any unique features.
What if I don’t know what equipment I have?
That’s perfectly normal, we’ll identify everything for you.
About Pool Chemistry
Do you help with water chemistry?
Yes, we explain what your levels mean, how to adjust them, and give step-by-step instructions based on your pool type.
What if my pool is saltwater?
We include customized salt system guidance and recommended levels.
How often should I test my water?
Most pools should be tested weekly, and more often during heavy swimming or after a lot of rain or storms.
Is pool chemistry hard to manage?
Pool chemistry can seem complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. With our easy-to-follow plan and the included chemistry spreadsheet, you’ll know exactly what to test, when to test it, and how to adjust your pool safely.

So you can choose just the guide for $99, or add the live walkthrough for a total of $199.

What type of pool do you work with?
We support all pool types and finishes.
Can you explain my spa, waterfall, or extra features?
Yes, we include all features visible on your equipment pad or notes in your form.
Miscellaneous
Do you recommend specific products or equipment?
We do not sell chemicals or equipment but we do recommend brands we trust. We do not have a financial partnership/relationship with any of these brands, so our recommendations are non-biased based on experience.
What if I have a problem with my pool equipment?
We help you understand and manage your pool, but we don’t do repairs. If something’s wrong, we recommend finding a good local pool professional.
What if I am still confused after receiving my program?
